About Morepork Riverside Lodge

Welcome to our quality B&B and Self-Contained Unit set in four acres on the Waitangi River. Situated just 8 minutes from Paihia township and 14 minutes from Kerikeri - a perfect location for exploring the Bay of Islands and Northland.

Stroll through our native bush & gardens, home to many NZ birds including Moreporks. Feed our alpacas (Blackadder & TimTam) or meet our timid, gentle cat (Panpoot).

For B&B guests we offer a sumptuous continental breakfast including cold meats, cheeses, and our friendly hens happily provide free range organic eggs for you. We can advise you on local places to dine, here in Paihia, over the water in Russell, or in Kerikeri.

We are both "Kiwi" born & bred and have travelled extensively throughout NZ, the Pacific and some parts of Europe. Please feel free to pick our brains about Northland & the rest of New Zealand.

We can sometimes accept booking that include children, so please enquire . No under 5’s for safety reasons.
