Two streets back from the beach, up on the hill you’ll find LaChelles private property with a boutique camp setting and a couple of fabulous ‘cabin getaways’.

The ‘camp area’ has 3 large private sites and the ‘Back to Basics’ cabins. These all have access to shared facilities, a terrace with views and are ideal for solo travellers, couples seeking getaways and small group get-togethers... anyone who enjoys a quiet holiday park setting.

‘The Lookout’ is a stand alone camp site and is known for it’s panoramic ocean views.

Nearby is a private cabin with ‘Seaviews and Sunsets’. It has an en-suite, a small dining, lounge area and is ideal for romantic getaways and rejuvenation.

Your hosts live locally, are known for their friendly hospitality and are consistently rated ‘Super Hosts'.

The location is world renown.... the gateway to the famous New Chums Beach (often rated as one of the worlds best beaches), Whangapoua is known for it’s white sand and surf, the harbour is fabulous swimming and the boat ramp provides easy access to exceptional fishing.

Neighbouring beaches have a golf course/club, Luke’s famous pizza kitchen and 25 minutes over the hill is the quaint village of Coromandel Town.
