Annabells B&B is a newly created business in Whitianga.
This wonderful accommodation with 2 suites is set amongst 2 hectares of sub tropical forest with views overlooking Mercury Bay on the stunning Coromandel Peninsula.
Rates include robes, luxe bathroom products and spa products to enjoy, teas and coffee available all day, Tv, private entries and balconies around our home to sit and enjoy the peacefulness and ocean views looking across the Shakespeare cliffs.
Rooms include breakfast provisions so guests can cook themselves bacon, eggs, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes on different types of local bread. The Coromandel Peninsula is famous for its coastline, rolling hills, forest, tree ferns or Punga's as the NZ'ers call them. Annabells B&B is a short driving distance to Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach, the stunning deserted beaches of the Peninsula, the Ferry to Cooks Beach, the divine coastal town of Pauanui, the art galleries of Tairua and Whangamata and the history of Coromandel Town and Hahei.
Karangahake Gorge has dramatic rock formations and is a must for travellers to the Peninsula.

Your Host is Brenda, a retired Chef. Scrumptious breakfast is included in your stay 7 Dinners can be provided by arrangement. Alternatively, there is Piper's Cafe/Bar and the Dunes Golf Club Restaurant nearby.

This is a 2 bedroom suite, each with a queen size bed. It has its own entrance. Enjoy free parking, free Wi-Fi, Hairdryer, heating, towels & linen. The main bedroom opens out onto a sunny patio with outdoor dining.

Nearby is the famous New Chums beach, a lovely walk through bush to a secluded beach. There are also bush walks from Matarangi. Or you can just relax with a book on the beach or in a deck chair in the garden.

Other activities include a spectacular 18 hole golf course with stunning sea views. A large children's playground is 5 mins walk, and a tennis court is 50 meters away.

Situated just a short walk from Kuaotunu village and across the road to the beach, Taigh Na Mara is the Gaelic translation for House by the Sea. Visitors from NZ and around the world are invited to come and share this little piece of paradise on the Coromandel with your host, Carol.

This purpose built B&B combines all the great qualities of well appointed guest accommodation, along with the comforts and character of a beautiful home. The village store, café, and Luke's Kitchen, an excellent restaurant for casual eating, are a 10 minute walk away. Centrally located on SH25, this is truly a wonderful place to base yourself to explore all the peninsula has to offer.

In the front of the B&B we have panoramic views of the Hauraki Gulf and behind us we have a native bush reserve with tui, bellbirds and kereru, the house is set in subtropical and native gardens . We are located just 10 minutes from Thames and its variety of interesting restaurants , approximately an hour a from Auckland, Hamilton or Tauranga This is a wonderful first stop on your Coromandel Peninsula adventure.
There is lots to do in the area, for the more adventurous canyoning, paragliding, trekking , mountain biking, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing. For relaxation natural hot pools, or wandering around the gold mining relics or just sit in the sun on the deck and read a book,
We have 3 spacious comfortable rooms , queen size beds with ensuites or private bathroom available, with facilities such as a spa .tv,wireless internet, coffee tea making facilities available for your use. A safe swimming beach is just seconds away, and we have a kayak and paddleboard available for guests to use to explore the local bays. Mill Creek Farm Cottage is set on a 25 acre lifestyle block 15 mins drive to Whitianga and 25 mins drive to Hot Water Beach and Hahei.

The fully renovated cottage features two bedrooms ( queen and double ), spacious and modern kitchen, open dining and living area with wood fire and seperate modern bathroom and toilet. There is a full kitchen, with oven, microwave, and a coffee machine. The extensive deck has outdoor lounge and dining furniture, BBQ and shade sail. Immediately adjacent is 'Nicks Cabin' - a fully renovated sleepout ( double ) with its' own deck and outdoor furniture. Limited WiFi is available at the cottage.

Both cottage and cabin overlook landscaped gardens and a large pond. There are several swimming holes close by. On the property is a forestry walk with views over the valley. There are chickens, ducks, horses, cows and sheep to interact with and enjoy.
There is plenty of parking room and room for a boat if required.

We are pet friendly - including horses! (ouside dogs only please)

The property was created by Helen and Richard and their 6 children and was purchased from the dairy farmer next door. Both the Villa and the cottage were moved on to the property and the extensive planting has all been a labour of love. It gives us great pleasure to share our piece of paradise.

Wairua Lodge began its life as a family home, was once an artist retreat and has now evolved into a stunning B&B. The Paua Bach is a studio style cottage with a king size and a sofabed. It is well suited for a romantic stay for a couple of a small family of three.
Special to Paua Bach is an old fashioned outdoor bath.

The cottage offers all you need for your holiday or special time away. It is fully self contained with a well equipped kitchenette with quality Swiss knifes, two bench top hot plates, microwave and BBQ on the private deck.

Complementary we provide beach towels as well as seasonal fresh fruit from the orchard, teas and coffee, olive oil and freshly ground salt and pepper.

We are happy to share our local knowledge and recommend places well off the beaten tourist track.

At Leighton Lodge we offer our Seahorse Suite (suitable for a family of 4) which is available either as B&B or as a self contained unit. It has it's own private entrance and offers a cosy kitchen/lounge, a bedroom with a queen bed + 2 singles in the living area. The unit has a bathroom with a shower and separate toilet. A highchair and a portable cot are available.
A continental breakfast is served -home made bread a speciality.
When you stay at Leighton Lodge the facilities available to you include:
