Located just 5 km from Te Anau on the world famous Milford Sound highway, Loch Vista is ideally positioned for you to explore Milford Sound, Fiordland National Park, and all the area has to offer.
Overlooking Lake Te Anau, the property has stunning views of the Murchison & Kepler Mountains. In fact, it is one of the best lake and mountain views in Te Anau.
Your host, Phil lives in the Villa and is available to provide you with local information and answer any queries.
Loch Vista has 3 rooms, all with queen beds and private en-suites.
All rooms have smart TVs and hairdryers. A fridge is also available for each room .
Two rooms have doors opening onto a patio where you can sit in the native garden, and enjoy the spectacular views and bird life.
A complimentary continental breakfast is provided each morning of your stay.
Phil will endeavour to meet you on arrival at Loch Vista and should you wish, sit and have a chat over a drink while you admire the fantastic view.
The lounge area is available for guests to use and chat, or to read a book about our beautiful country from the small library.
Te Anau township is just a 5 minute drive from Loch Vista where guests can enjoy an evening meal from one of a good array of restaurants.

Brookside Luxury Apartments are architecturally designed and decorated one bedroom units which were completed in 2021.
The apartments are centrally located. Only a two minute walk to town, shops and restaurants, five minutes to the lakefront and two minutes to the golf course. Although only a block from town the apartments are nestled in a quiet residential garden setting. Bullock creek, an artisan fed stream, runs through the property. They have are large, private sunny decks to enjoy the setting.
The self-serviced apartments are modern and stylishly furnished. They include a fully equipped kitchen with stove top, oven, dishwasher and full size fridge. There is also a washing machine, free Wifi and off street parking.
You can swim in Lake Wanaka in the summer, while in the winter time, you can enjoy skiing at Treble Cone or Cardrona, which are both within a 30-minute drive from the property. Many hiking and biking trails can also be enjoyed nearby in the Wanaka region.

King size beds, beautiful linen, ensuite bathrooms with fantastic water pressure, fully equipped kitchens with Nespresso machine, microwave, cook top and fridge freezer; TV/DVD, DVD library, books, magazines, cosy gas fire, overhead fans and insect screens. Each cottage has a deck, a full size barbecue and carport and fabulous views.

All guests enjoy free WiFi and laundry facilities, free mountain bikes to explore the local area plus a complimentary bowl of walnuts from our own trees.

We are surrounded by excellent wineries, stone fruit orchards, cycle trails, arts, crafts, lake activities and cafes. We are just 35 minutes from Queenstown and Wanaka so a great base from which to enjoy the ski fields before returning to the serenity and warmth of your cottage in beautiful Cromwell . We will even turn your fire on for you before you get home!

As a family of seven with three older daughters whom have left home to begin their own adventures – Derek, Laura, Devon (7) and baby Kassidy proudly own and lovingly operate Blue Ridge.

Our 3 Studios have self controlled air conditioning/heating, smart TVs, comfortable king size beds with feather-down mattress toppers and duvets, designer linen and quality furnishings.

Kitchenettes are fully stocked and have a microwave, sink, fridge and a good selection of teas and coffees and snacks.

Ensuite bathrooms have powerful showers, heated floor tiles and towel warmers. Organic lavender toiletries are provided with plenty of fluffy white towels and bath robes.

Breakfast options are pre-selected at check-in and delivered to studios at your chosen time. If you have an early start, breakfast options can be delivered the night before.

We are located in Manapouri, just 5 minutes' walk to the departure point for Doubtful Sound trips and a stunning 2.5 hour drive to Milford Sound. Murrells Grand View House is the perfect place from which to explore the Fiordland National Park, Te Anau and many beautiful walking tracks. Murrells Grand View House was built in 1889 to provide accommodation for the first tourists to the area. The Murrell family were explorers, guides and tourism hosts in the early pioneering days of Fiordland. The house has continued to be operated as accommodation since 1889 by the Murrell family making it the oldest of its kind in New Zealand and a unique and historic place to stay. Robert (4th generation) and Philippa Murrell are your hosts and will ensure that your stay is memorable. They are happy to help with information and activity bookings.
