Directions: Kuaotunu is 17km north of Whitianga - along SH25. In Kuaotunu turn on to Bluff Road, across a bridge, past the camping ground, first left into Gray Ave, end of Gray Ave up the hill on the tar sealed driveway. It's a long drive - 800 meters

The Rawhiti Cottage at Kaeppeli's Kuaotunu is self contained accommodation, with commanding views over bush, beach and bay. Nestled on the hill above Kuaotunu Beach and beside Matarangi reserve. Abundant bird life and friendly farm animals add to this peaceful setting far removed from city life. A perfect place to relax, unwind, enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds you.
Set in the garden over looking the olive grove and out to sea, its private and perfect for a romantic getaway or a family holiday. Brilliant for stargazing. Rooms are bright, sunny and comfortable, both with their own bathrooms. There's basic kitchen facilities and a BBQ on the deck, for those that prefer to self cater. Treat yourself at Luke's Kitchen & Kua Kafe nearby for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A 3 hour bush walk starts from our door, with wonderful outlooks, unique wetland with rare birds and a large grove of young Kauri. An ideal base for exploring the Coromandel. Children welcome. Pet friendly accommodation.
