Directions: Matarangi beach is located on the east coast of the Coromandel peninsula. Situated between Coromandel town and WHITIANGA town, approximately 25 minutes drive from either Coromandel or Whitianga. 3 hours drive from Auckland airport.
About Waimaire Bed & Breakfast
Your Host is Brenda, a retired Chef. Scrumptious breakfast is included in your stay 7 Dinners can be provided by arrangement. Alternatively, there is Piper's Cafe/Bar and the Dunes Golf Club Restaurant nearby.
This is a 2 bedroom suite, each with a queen size bed. It has its own entrance. Enjoy free parking, free Wi-Fi, Hairdryer, heating, towels & linen. The main bedroom opens out onto a sunny patio with outdoor dining.
Nearby is the famous New Chums beach, a lovely walk through bush to a secluded beach. There are also bush walks from Matarangi. Or you can just relax with a book on the beach or in a deck chair in the garden.
Other activities include a spectacular 18 hole golf course with stunning sea views. A large children's playground is 5 mins walk, and a tennis court is 50 meters away.
